From Denmark: Stig Fogh Andersen - Opera Tenor & Court Singer

Stig Andersen has Been one of the most sought-after heldentenors of his generation. He has sung all major tenor roles written by Richard Wagner in nearly all important theatres including the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Chicago Lyric Opera, Paris Opéra-Bastille, De Nederlandse Opera in Amsterdam, Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, Munich State Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin or New National Theatre in Tokyo. In the year 2012 he added Loge in Das Rheingold in London to his repertoire, so that he sung all tenor roles – except Mime - in Der Ring des Nibelungen.

Besides this, he has sung a large repertoire including Herodes in Salome, the title role of Peter Grimes, The King of Naples in Thomas Adès’ The Tempest, Florestan in Fidelio, Otello by Verdi and Canio in I Pagliacci.

He has worked with conductors such as Christian Arming, Daniel Barenboim, Myun-Whun Chung James Conlon, Mark Elder, Christoph Eschenbach, Hartmut Haenchen, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Bernard Haitink, Neeme Järvi, Philippe Jordan, Jiri Kout, James Levine, Fabio Luisi, Zubin Mehta, Antonio Pappano, Simon Rattle, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Michael Schønwandt, Leif Segerstam or Franz Welser-Möst.

Among his CD and DVD recordings are Franz Schmidt’s Das Buch mit sieben Siegeln with Franz Welser-Möst, Brahms’ Rinaldo, Schönberg’s Gurre-Lieder with Esa-Pekka Salonen and with Mariss Jansons, Sigmund in Die Walküre and Siegfried in Siegfried and Götterdämmerung as well as Tannhäuser.

As a stage director he has produced Götterdämmerung in Esbjerg, Tristan und Isolde in Copenhagen as well as Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeney Toddin Odense. In summer 2013 he staged a shortened version of Der Ring des Nibelungen at Christians Kirke in Copenhagen, in which he sang Loge, Siegmund and Siegfried.

From Albania: Rudina Ciko - Pianist

RUDINA CIKO: A pianist of international career, she studied and trained in Milano, Brescia, and Paris. Completed her postgraduate studies in Bucharest with highest results. Has won a number of national awards, excelling in contemporary 20th century music. She has performed several recitals, including Transcendental Etudes, Sonata H-moll (Liszt), Etudes, Grande Polonaise, Barcarolle, Sonata 3 (Chopin), Fantasy C-moll (Schumann), and various works from Schubert, Franck, Debussy, Ravel, Enescu, Lutoslawski, and ensembles. Performances accompanied by an orchestra include concertos: Beethoven 5th, Chopin 2nd, Listz 1st, Tchaikovsky 1st, Rachmaninov Rhapsody, Hindemith 4 Temperaments, Gorecki Concerto and several Albanian concertos. She has performed in Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Romania, North Macedonia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, Syria, etc. She has recorded CDs in France, US, Albania of premiere works. Currently holds the title of Professor at the University of Arts.

From Switzerland: Ermira Lefort - Pianist

Graduated as a pianist, professor and accompanist for all instruments and opera, from the Higher Conservatory of Arts of Tirana.

Ermira has been a pianist and a lecturer for years in different countries such as France, Greece, Ireland and lately in the Federation of the Music Conservatories in Geneva and DIP.

During her three decades of artistic career, Ermira has contributed and intensively continues to perform in numerous concerts of classical music and activities for the Diaspora, by bringing closer the tradition and the artistic culture of the community with artists in Switzerland, Albania, USA, Cyprus, Ireland, Greece, France, England, Croatia, Slovenia, etc.

Her first CD of piano works of Albanian composers, has been highly rated by the foreign professional critics and “E jona Muzike” has been selected to become part of American Congress Library in Washington.

Ermira is also the artistic director and pianist of the CD with 22 “ Kënge Liturgjike shpip”.

From Albania: Mariana Leka - Soprano

Considered the most renowned artist of the Albanian Opera of the last 30 years. A soprano of natural talent, she studied at the Albanian Academy of Music and was trained by P. Washington. She has played 26 roles, including Susannah, Contessa, Pamina, Zerlina, Fiordiligi, Donna Anna (Mozart), Clarice (Haydn), Violeta, Gilda, Amelia, Desdemona (Verdi), Adina, Anna Bolena, Lucia (Donizetti), Norma (Bellini), Mimi, Liu, Butterfly, Tosca, S. Angelica (Puccini), Leila, Michaela (Bizet), Margherita, Nedda, as well as many leading roles in Albanian operas, recitals and chamber works, etc. Beside Albania, she has performed in Italy, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Romania, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina. She taught a Master Course in Kosovo. She has won several national awards, as well the K. Ricciarelli Award in Italy and the Italian Arias Award in Germany. Currently teaching canto at the University of Arts.

From Albania: Erinda Agolli - Soprano

Erinda Agolli, is a lyrical coloratura soprano who graduated from the University of Arts in Tirana. She performed several roles at the National Opera Theater, debuting with instant success as the Queen of the Night in the “Magical Flute,” followed by Giulietta in “Capuletti e Montecchi”, Adele in “Fledermauss”, and she was a soloist in “Carmine Burana.” She has performed in Portugal, France, Italy, Greece, Serbia, Montenegro, and Kosova, as well as on TV shows. She has participated in professional master classes with major names in classical music. Worth mentioning are the two master classes with the world-famous soprano Ermonnela Jaho.

From Danemark: Feriede Istogu Gillersberg - Soprano

Feride Istogu Gillesberg (Denmark) soprano, is an Albanian who was born in Kosova, grew up in Germany, and lives in Denmark. She has been working with the Schiller Institute for many years, and thereby became acquainted with classical music, and discovered a great passion for bel canto singing. In her 30's Feride began taking private singing lessons and attended master classes with Matti Borg, Gitta Marie Sjöberg, Stig Fogh Andersen and Tina Kiberg. Feride has performed lieder and songs by, among others, R. and C. Schumann, P. Heise and traditional Chinese songs. She sang at the Sanctification of Mother Teresa in Copenhagen.

From Albania: Gerald Murrja - Tenor

Gerald Murrja - Represents the youngest talented generation in Albania. He graduated from the University of Arts in Tirana for Canto, and Gerald is a Soloist at the Opera and Ballet Theater of Tirana.

He participated in several solo roles, such as:
➢ Nemorino "L'elisir D'amore"
➢ Guillaume Tell from the opera "Guillaume Tell."
➢ Don Basilio from the opera "Le nozze di Figaro" etc.

Geraldi was a finalist in the Talent Show "X factor Albania," represented by the group "Classic Boys" and winner of the award "Best Group" in the festival "Kenga Magjike." He has participated in many TV shows as well.

He has performed in different concerts inside and outside Albania as in Germany, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Kosovo, Croatia, France, Greece, Montenegro, Macedonia, etc. Gerald Murrja has joined several masterclasses with great professors like Piero Giuliacci (Italy), Vito Brunetti (Italy), and Saimir Pirgu (Albania). Recently he has been studying, practicing, and being supervised by professor Caroline Merz (Germany).

From Albania: Antonio Zefi - Baritone

ANTONIO ZEFI, is also one of the new voices of the current opera scene. He started to engage in the National Opera Theater in the first year of studies. After successfully completing higher studies for canto under the direction of Professor Agim Duro and various masterclasses with Ermonela Jaho, Josif Gjipali, Frano Lufi and Angelo Gabrieli, Antonio demonstrated on stage the voice of a promising bass-baritone.

Vocal and scenic ability secured him admission to the National Opera House, where he began to engage in choir and various roles such as: 1-Marulo "Rigoletto" 2-Lorenzo "Capuleti e Montechi" 3-Presiter "Die Zauberflote" 4-Doganier "La Boheme ”5-Commissar Imperiale Madama Butterfly 6-Zyniga“ Carmen ”7-Silvano“ Un Ballo in Maschera ”8- Bartolo“ Il barbiere di Siviglia ”9- Marcheze“ La Traviata ” etc and various concerts inside and outside the country. Meanwhile, the following specializations are providing further training of Antonio Zefi, in addition to concerts abroad and other experiences.
